Ethiopia: a thousand tragedies

Wukro, Ehtiopia – July 2008
Ethiopia, like many other countries in Africa, lives its own tragedy. In Wukro, a village of 34.000 inhabitants at the north of the country, is not an exception. With a high death rate dute to AIDS and tuberculosis diseases, a lot of children are orphan and suffer a serious deficit of nourishment. Many men were killed or mutilated because of the war against Eritrea some years ago. Many girls are prostitutes to get money easily and thousands of young people look for a better future spite of the poor educational system.
