This is the best book I have read for many years. It has more than a thousand pages, but I read them impressively fast (English is not my mother tongue). The novel catches from the very beginning and, although there are many descriptions when action is missing, there is nothing I would remove. Nothing at all. All it's in its place. It's a perfect story, well designed, that completes an amazing circle. Stephen King works the two story-lines (the same characters in two different times) running in parallel and ending together.

Although this is a 40-year-old book, the plot is still valid in our times. And the fact I am 45 years old, it is a great excuse to travel to my childhood.
